Following successful, entertaining and informative workshops in 2009 and 2010, Brockham Choral Society and conductor Andrew Phillips are providing a 'come and sing' opportunity for lovers of Mozart's wonderful setting of the Requiem. In addition to the 'workshop' elements of the training day, including expert tuition on effective breathing, vocal production & stamina and help with reading and listening skills, there will be an early evening performance of the work for friends and supporters to hear the product of the day's work.

For more information about the workshop, contact us here.

We are a well established choir with around 100 singers and friends, and perform 3 or 4 concerts annually with a varied repertoire from the 16th century to contemporary music. The choir is always pleased to welcome new members, and operates a policy of 'self selection' rather than audition. There is more about the choir on the About Us page. We meet on Tuesday evenings in Powell Corderoy School Hall in Dorking at 8pm, from September to May. To see what musical events we are planning for the future, click here.

Our Musical Director, Andrew Phillips, joined us in 2007/08 and we are enjoying working with him to expand the choir's reach and repertoire.
